AM club 1913 - carmel next weekend

Any bay area folks headed to carmel for the AM 1913 club next weekend? Looks like a cool event. I signed up for the cruise in Friday morning 9-11am. If anybody is going drop me a pm.

I'm going. AML does a terrific event in Carmel. Will miss the Friday cruise - will be at Quail.

FYI, we were participants in the Dream Drive along Highway 1 on August 9th.
Be advised that there is ongoing construction on Hwy 1 between Carmel Valley Road and Rio Road and SR 68 is currently being repaved between Monterey and Salinas.
The normally terrible traffic during car week will be even worse with these projects obstructing traffic in the area.
We had planned to attend the Drive in car show as we did last year, but chickened out because of the problems driving a manual in the awful traffic.

Check out @ 58 seconds for our Aston...and Russ @ 33seconds who drove a DB2/4.

Update as of 5pm local news. Next week all Lanes on Hwy1 will be open. Road work will be limited to night work. Traffic will be bad just due to volume of cars and visitors, but should not be effected by road work.

Some streets will be closed at times due to auto transport trucks loading, unloading, and staging.

Taking Thursday and Friday off this coming week. Going to Los Gatos Luxury event and Club 1913 on Friday. Looking forward to walking Cannery Row on Friday as well. I’ve only ever made it to the races at Laguna Seca on Saturday previously. Any tips on Thursday events?

I thought I saw him at a pub in carmel last year. But embarrassed myself instead. The bloke looked totally like him.

I should be at sunset as well. Parking is hit and miss though.

In any case is SR68 all good to go? Looks green to me on Google maps.
