2009 Aston Martin DBS Door Latch
Hey guys! The interior passenger-side door latch cable in my DBS has completely disconnected. I have since removed it from the door to try to reinstall it but I am unable to reattach neither the metal hook inside the door nor the plastic holder/bracket that's next to that metal hook. Does anyone have any guidance as to how to proceed? I've been able to take off the interior aspect of the door but I am not able to reach inside the door to reattach the metal hook to where it's supposed to go. Many thanks in advance.
The metal hook I am unable to reattach.
The entire passenger-side door latch, removed from the inside of the door.

You may want to get a copy or download of the service manual and proceed to remove the entire latch assembly to inspect. That cable doesn't just fall out of position, there's more to it than that.

This is a fairly simple fix:
Remove the opposite, still functional door pull, note the wiring, and copy on the side that needs it.
This is the part you should remove.
The underside of the door pull has placed for each of those tabs.

Thank you for your reply, spyder997s. Unfortunately, it is on the other side of the cable by the latch, as stated by J doubleU. I will attempt the repair sometime in the upcoming week when I have time. I will of course post an update.
