Sounds like a real car not the muted leaf blower Merc engine .
I have a request in to Mr Palmer for one for me for xmas to shoehorn into the Vantage :D:D
Now if they would change the F1 engine rules and allow them to use this kind of engine in F1 again the grandstands would be overflowing again .

Sounds a lot like the V12 in the old Lola-Aston Martin LMP1 race car (which was the best sounding race car I've ever heard).

What engineering, what a beautiful sound!!!!

Here is the Aston Martin Corporate version:

Interesting that they will use that engine to drive a Hybrid drivetrain. Everything about the car just sounds insane. The engine is an integral part of the car's structure and they are shooting for a power to weight ration of 1:1, one to one. That means the car will only weigh in at 1000 lbs or if the car ends up weighing 1800 lbs the hybrid system would be looking for 1800 bhp.

This is Aston Martin's moon shot.

ok. I stand corrected 1000kg or 2200 pounds for a 1000bhp.
