4.7 oil change clarification

I know the 4.3 has the front/rear bypass filters that need to be removed during an oil change, in addition to the oil tank and filter. Does the 4.7 has same 2 bypass filters to deal with?

Thanks.

You do not need to worry about bypass filters on the 4.7l

There’s actually 5 locations to drain oil on the 4.3:

1. Oil reservoir. 13 mm on the hand welded tank that houses the dipstick
2. Oil sump. 13 mm underneath engine near forward bypass filter
3. Forward bypass filter Torx T-30
4. Rearward bypass filter Torx T-30
5. Oil filter

excluding bypass filters that that still leaves 3 locations on the 4.7.
