Rare Aston Martin DB5 is going up for auction.

I wonder if the left-hand drive will make it more or less valuable? That said, I think this baby will probably hammer for around 500k... Be curious to see how close to the mark I get.

It is probably a zero-sum game with the cost for the conversion. Maybe to some purists, a tad lower, especially if they did not correct the direction and remove the wiper holes, so wipers move the way it should with an LHD. My think, if really a solid car, looking north of 700. Never know with auctions. Some great DB4s (which to me is nicer looking and better driving DB) is selling around 600K for a 1 or 2ish example with a great history. Just my two pounds.

Interesting point about the wiper holes... I wonder if the Aston factory in the '60s had that attention to detail? Ha ha!
