Vantage front Orange reflector light change DIY?

So I noticed today that when I press the yellow button on my remote and LED’s come on, the bumper orange reflector lights are supposed to come on too but they don’t on the driver side. So I am thinking I need to put in a new bulb.

How hard/easy is this to do yourself without having any technical skills? It’s a 2008 Vantage. If there’s a DIY guide posted somewhere with what bulb to purchase and steps by step guide on how to do it etc, that would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

it is not that difficult but there is a lot of stuff in the way of getting to it, mainly the wheel liner and air box.

It takes less than 10 min. turn the wheels to full lock right, remove 2 screws on arch liner peel it back and there is the lamp socket. Same 194 bulb as others.

So I don't have the remove the wheel first and the entire fender liner? No removing of air box?

What type of bulb do I need exactly to replace the old one with?

Anyone re: bulb? I still haven't done this as I'd like to have the bulb with me when I attempt this! Thanks.

I actually did find that DIY from redpants on youtube, however, I am wondering what type of bulb do I specifically need to replace the messed up one?

See above post...194 or equal ... clear bulb

Owners book calls for W5W bulb which is a bulb not to exceed 5 watts. There are a few selections 168 which is 4-5 watts and 194 which is 3-4 watts. More watts is brighter yes but also hotter. The lamps melt and can have water ingress. So go with 194 bulbs. Or spring for super bright LED's. Replace in pairs or fours while you have the tools out.

Thank you guys. Intend to attempt this in the next few days. Just not looking forward to stuffing my hands into tight spaces and scratching them. Will attempt to do it without removing the wheels first.
