I've done that that for years now. Just make sure you got enough padding/towels between the car seat and the seat.

I realize your post is about the v8 roadster so you're asking about the front seat, but the title of the thread was more open ended, so maybe some 2+2 readers will happen by. For front seat kid carrying, Diono is the shallowest seat I've found.

For the DB9 backseat I picked up a Bubblebum inflatable seat from Target. There are other variations of backless booster seats that can work too. Since the AM back seat is so tiny and sculpted, it's like factory kid car seats anyway. The only trick is to boost them up and the three point is in perfect position.

Likely everyone will ratchet up with increasing safety scorning, but in our case 99.9% of her travelling is in the 5500 lb Mercedes GL350 Panzerwagen in a car seat we could probably drive off the Grand Canyon in.

She's 2-1/2 in this pic.

I used this one...the fitment was OK. Don't think it's a convertible car seat though.

My daughter finally turned 2 last week and im concidering having her in the roadster. How old was your son when he first rode?

Im assuming you put a carseat backing back in the front or did you do a carseat facing front?

Started back in May. He was 3. Turned 4 in Aug.
Carseat is front facing. 5 point harness. Only used to pick him up from daycare to home. Like 6mi but would take him other places if need be.
