Aston Martin drift car
According to the post, this is the only crushed carbon fiber body in the world. And while purists aren't going to thrilled about what's under the hood, overall, I think this is pretty cool...
Does not look like much actual "Aston" left in that Vantage. I'm all for Chevy conversions in most cases, especially if the engine was destroyed - had two 928's with Renegade conversions, one with a total $25K invested and ended up doing a Ferrari Yellow 1982 928 with a 600HP/600LB TrQ (Dyno'ed) Chevy Blower Motor that won multiple car show awards including Car Craft Summer Nationals, and another I was stupid and spent $105K customizing a 1987 928 S4 with a complete custom body overhaul, electronics, and interior - nice looking and quick, but still only worth about $25K. When I got my first Vantage (ordered new in 2007) I was no longer interested in driving the 928's.
I can understand that, for sure. But sounds like you've built some amazing cars. I have to wonder about throwing this much money at a drift car, that's going to be right on the edge of being wrecked most of the time, but I still think this is a wild build. Glad somebody did it, even if I never would!
