Still fun cars

I have a 1200hp Shelby GT350R blown track car and the Vanquish is still my favorite

It’s still the only car I have ever owned that random people come up in car parks and say ….wow…what is it …and what a beautiful car…it’s a rare beast around here…

Have only had my 2007 V8V for 2 months, so a small sample size. So far....had one guy say "nice car" while getting gas. Had another guy (at a cars and coffee no less) say "I like your Austin-Healey". And then this past weekend had two teenage boys at a shopping center walk up to me and ask me to settle a bet for them...one thought it was Hyundai Genesis and the other thought it was an Aston Martin.

When I got my V8V my next door neighbor came over and knocked on my door, and told me he wanted to see my car. While he's oggling it, he calls me an ******* and says he hates me. He was also drunk.

Did you tell them they were both wrong - and it's the new Kia ?

Sounds like some real idiots live there.

Virtually none. My wife's Nardo Gray Audi TT gets way more attention/compliments than my Toro Red V8 Vantage ;(

I think color must have something to do with the attention the Aston gets. I had a black Vantage and it didn’t get much attention. Then I had a Ghillies Green Vantage and it always got a lot of attention. I had a Metallic Gray DB11 and it got quite a bit of attention. Now I have a Tungsten Silver Vantage and it get very little attention. It also depends on where you drive. All in all it impresses me every time I drive, just look at in the garage, or look back at it after parking. They sure are beautiful cars.

I'v had several sports cars including Audi R8, BMW M4, Corvette C8, and Nissan GTR. My current car, the GTR gets tons of attention. Every time I take it out I either get thumbs up, or guys taking photo's with their cell phones. At the gas stations I normally get compliments on the car. They have been produced for several years but are super rare to be seen on the roads. I am receiving my 2023 Vantage V8 F1 Edition in British Racing Green Satin in a couple of months. It is a gorgeous car and I know for sure that it will receive many, many stares, thumbs up, or photo's. I am really happy to be owning the car, and it will be my first Aston Martin.

My Aston gets enough attention to draw a few looks, thumbs ups, and questions (What kind of car is that?).

One thing that has been consistent is that it is always allowed in crowded car meets and they make room for it to park on display.

My 911 was turned down a few times at a car meet parking spot for display because there were too many Porsches and they only allowed Gt3/2 RS and sometimes turbos or other "exotics". Not saying this was right, just an interesting observation at some car meets.

My 2013 black V8V gets enough attention in the DC area, as it should. It's a beautiful car.

I drove my nephews 2022 Porsche 718 GT4 yesterday and that drew tons of attention. It might have had something to do with the color, Voodoo Blue. That was an impressive car to drive. If I were ever to go back to Porsche it would be for a GT4

My wife just drove mine and was floored with how many people stare at it. It is just such a pretty car.
