V8 Vantage brake system troubleshoot ( spongy)
Good morning,
Recently I have done the brake pads changing at Barcelona AM Official. They changed the 4 pads and the brake fluid but my surprise was when I come back until home I have noticed that the brake pedal was "a little bit spongy and the brake pedal went to the floor, different like before". I went to AM and They told me that maybe They had left a little bit of air and They purged again the hydraulic brake system and They secure me that that's all that I would need to drive until about 500 kilometers . After this for me the pedal worked the same ( spongy and bad and less power of braking). I contact with a good mechanical and He has changed the master cylinder of braking, but the problem remains.
Point that:
- I don't see any leak.
- All It's OEM
- I would like to note that the first master cylinder( that We have replaced) doesn't works fine and I noticed that when you push down You can feel impediments.
Could you help me? I cannot think something else and I'm concerned about this.

If a master cylinder is bad they will leak internally. Your mechanic made a reasonable part swap to try and cure the problem.
You have air in the system. Can be tough to remove but usually rapping on the caliper with a hammer while pumping the brakes and then bleeding will get the I air out. Lots of YouTube's on how to do this for other makes. Same applies here. Especially with 4/6 caliper brembros.

I use a power bleeder on the master cylinder (pump it to 10PSI) and a vacuum tank on the caliper. Follow the DIY for bleeding Brembro brakes and it will eventually tighten up.
I completely bleed my system by accident when I pulled the motor - supposed to require the AMDS to unlock the ABS. I found that by loosening the brake lines at the abs module and back bleeding from the caliper to the ABS I was able to get the air out. Took a bunch of pumping, and a bunch of fluid but was able to get all the air out. Keep trying!
