Just a nifty AM umbrella and I want to mount it in the hatch as close to stock as possible. Are the 2 straps simply leather with velcro? If any one has the stock umbrella straps that could post a picture with out the umbrella, or even measure how long they are it would be most appreciated! My daughter is pretty handy making leather items for Cosplay, so I am sure she can wrangle up something. Also do the straps use a button snap for attachment or just a through screw and grommet? Thanks!

Note: I could not find the straps sold through AM parts. Though you can get the entire rear panel with straps for $1350.

The umbrella I sourced is an AMR racing umbrella off Amazon. It's a good bit longer, so it will have to be mounted in the lower compartment.

The umbrella is very heavy duty, dark green and lime-yellow, and it changes color (shows AMR) when it gets wet. About $70. Nice alternative to stock.
