Passenger seat no height adjustment

The newer cars don’t have height adjustment. Is it possible to use either an older seat or a right had drive seat to get the recline function. Very uncomfortable for any length of time. Considering using spacers in the front but I’d rather have a functional height adjustment. I realize I will need to buy the switch as well.

I've heard two reasons for this, one is that it was an option, the other is that it was removed in order to have the SRS weight sensor work properly on the passenger side. Either way I think its pretty damn stupid when other Ford luxury products from that era like Volvo and Jaguar had passenger seat height adjustment in the US.

I bought the switches from a RHD car driver's side when I was in Europe last and I forgot them at home there when I came back to the States. So I haven't got round to taking apart my US DB9 and figuring it out. But if I had to guess, all the motors and mechanisms are the same. Possibly only the switch and maybe the controller are different.
