Flashing a Roof Control Module in the Washington DC area?

Hi,

My DB9 Volante Roof Control Module died, so I got a new one from Scuderia and installed it. It needs to be flashed by AM to operate. I have an appointment in a few weeks at Washington AM in Tysons, VA but was wondering if there were any Independents in the local area (aka the DMV) that have the correct computer to do the flash. I'd rather not wait if I don't have to do so.

Thanks in advance,
Larry

Not speaking from experience (I'm new), but when I researched myself it looks like Rosso Service in way-out-beyond-Baltimore MD probably has AMDS since they list ECU reprogramming in services. Intersport has worked on Aston engines, including DB9, but I'm not sure they have AMDS. Would love to know if there are better alternatives.

Sadly Intersport doesn't have AMDS...

Call Steel Wings in Warminster, PA. It might be a bit of a drive for you but Jon can probably do it for a lot less than the dealer will charge.

Thats the downside of owning an AM in the DMV... Not many AM certified shops beyond Tysons AM... And trust me they know it!

fortunately the db9 is a pretty simple car. I notice thst the new CRM has some shock isolation thst the old one didnt have. Such a poor design for a beautiful car!

I concur regarding Steel Wings - they do have AMDS. My car is going there 21st for an emissions issue....

Just want to revive this thread to correct the suggestion I provided above. Rosso Service outside Baltimore does not have AMDS. Just confirmed with them. Sadly, Steel Wings is 3.5 hours away from those of us in NoVA -- the Aston stealership in New Jersey is actually a bit closer. Rosso can do everything but program modules & keys.

Thanks for the update.

As much as I wanted to complain about the AM dealership they only charged $25.00 more than the Ford dealer did to read the OBDII for my sister. She bought a Foxwell to stop that nonsense.
