John M is infamous around these parts
2002 vanquish v12

hello, I'm new to the group and I'm stuck on 2002 Aston martin vanquish v12.
it would pop out of gear intermittently. replaced the clutch, release bearing, clutch sensor, as well as had the ASM assembly and actuator rebuild, have it all together now, and bled the system with a Leonardo scan tool. for some reason now it won't go into gear. I can hear the solenoids and the pump actuating, but still won't go in the requested gear.

any help is appreciated.

thank you

If you removed the ASM unit to rebuild it, you would then need to have it recalibrated before reinstalling it using the AM ‘octopus’ rig. Also, you’d want to upgrade the original position sensors to the magnetic type and a new H-plate. But those aren’t necessary. But the recal is required if you remove and mess with the ASM unit.

There is a lot of help for Vanquish on the AMOC forum. Anything that goes wrong with a Vanq is discussed there in the Vanquish sub forum.
