Window issue fuse and soft reset doesn't work

I recently gave myself a big challenge by buying a bit of a neglected DB9 2004. It had a decent dealership history until 2019 and was then stored for 3 years. Since i'm a mechanic myself I wanted to take up this challenge. Of coarse it had a flat battery and a lot of things where not working anymore (radio, electric boot, fuel cap etc) I fixed most of the items already and now I'm looking at the windows.

My windows had 2 issues to start with. When opening the drivers door, the window went all the way down and when closing the door the window goes all the way up.
The drivers side did nothing. After a soft reset the drivers side worked perfectly but the passenger side did nothing. Then I pulled the fuses 82 and 83.
After a few minutes I placed them back and relearned the up and down.

Now I have 2 (new) issues:
1. the driver side goes down a bit when pulling the handle (like it should) but it does not go up when closing the door. When opening again it does not go down anymore like the function is broken. After doing a recallebration it again goes down once but not up. Same thing for the passenger side.
2. second issue: The passenger side goes down only a few inches at a time, I have to release the button and press it again it goes a few inches again, I need to repeat this until it is down, and the same thing when going up.

Do you have any clue what I can do to fix this?

No idea if this is the solution, and you seem infinitely more qualified than me to work on vehicles, but I did think it was worthwhile passing along that after my battery died a while back the window soft resets did not work and the dealer had to remove the door cards and reset something inside the doors. Didn't take long at all or cost much, but everything seems to work fine following that.

Hopefully helpful in some way.

My head is going to explode….please, it is ‘side’ not ‘site’.

Sorry, you might have noticed I'm not native English but I corrected it.

I first try a full battery charge and disconnect and if that doesn't work I will pull the door cards to see if I can find something there. All tips are welcome, I will make pictures if I take the door cards off, if it fixes something I will create an how to ;)

Some have found that removing the door cards and physically removing the power plug from the door modules will reset the windows.

I took of the door cards which was easier than expected. Pulling all the plugs on the driver side fixed that door. But on the passenger door it does not work and the window still only drops a few inches every time.
Now I remember that on bmw's there is a protection that when you hold the button it detects if the window motor is actually rotating and if not it stops the power. I'm getting the feeling it could be something like that? So I took a big part of the regulator apart and notice a lot of corrosion on the electronics. I also noticed I’m not the first one that is messing with it looking at the damaged screws.

I think the regulator is done so I’m going to try and find another one.

I have (at least for mine) a fix for the 'dropping only a few inches' window issue. It was all in the electronics. After finding the schematics I found out the motor has 2 hall sensors. Probably for determing the rotation and speed.
After hooking up a multimeter I discovered that 1 sensor is working the other one not so I’m getting closer. So I took the thing apart.

It has clearly got damage from corrosion. After measuring all the tracks only the signal back from the u2 hall sensor was not working, it was in the track itself (or how do you cal those electric lines)

As a test I rewired the track:

Guess what… It works I have a working window again. Now I need to decide if I’m going to redo the whole print of I will keep it as is since it is working.

nice job

That pc board looks pretty bad. Maybe you can replace all the traces with direct point to point wiring, including components?
