CCBs on gen 2 Vanquish

Hi all,

I have carbon ceramic brakes on my 2014 Vanquish and they work great. However, when I slow to a stop they squeal very loudly. It sounds really bad and makes me cringe each time. However, they are perfectly silent when slowing from higher speeds. I just get the squeal while at slow/parking lot speeds to a stop.

Do any other owners with CCBs get this squeal? If so, is it a simple fix for rebedding, or does this point to a larger issue?

Squeal is normal on slow speed / cold CCB rotors. It is one of the 'downside' of that technology.

You can google Carbon Ceramic Brake squeal, and you'll see it's a complaint across pretty much every car make.

Pretty common, but not universal. My DBS and Vanquish are silent at all speeds, fortunately.
