Anyone been in touch with Rich at Redpants lately?

I placed an order on his website on 01-NOV-24 and it still shows as processing. The items were in-stock. I have sent a couple of emails to rich@redpants.lol but have not received a response. Has anyone been in touch with him lately?

I had quick turnaround on an order a month ago so. I think he has other people fulfilling orders.

Thank you for the response. Not sure what's going on. As a last resort, I sent them a message through their contact page before I charge back on my card. I see no other way of contacting them.

His website says he is not active on most social media. Anyway, I filed a dispute and ordered from aston martin bits instead. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I have not ordered anything off his website in over a year. Never had a problem, but would never trust it now, it's sad. AM bits are great to order from. I always use America Express if I can, they will get your $ back.

Another endorsement for Nicholas Mee/The Aston Store, night and day difference in customer service. I've had nothing but good experiences with their team.

Can't say the same for Redpants and from my experience I'd stay away from them. I bought an AMR grille from them a while ago and it arrived with numerous pieces of hardware missing. Richard blamed it on Aston Martin, saying they were the ones sending products with missing hardware, but he ended up going dark on me when I tried to have him track down what was missing. Still haven't heard from him to this day.

That is not good. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I finally received an email saying that the parts were being shipped. I responded letting him know that I have already filed a dispute with my CC and to cancel the order and shipment. Received an immediate response from Rich saying that he will cancel the order and shipment, and will confirm once done. Not sure if he was able to stop the shipment because the tracking number shows it will be delivered today. Regardless, it will be going back because I already ordered and received the parts from AM bits.

HI all
Happy New Year!

Just as an update... I've known Rich (not personally but as owner of Redpants LOL) for about 7 years... he had never let me down on purchases and had been a help to me when reaching out to him in various issues with my Vantage over the years...

I am planning to do brakes and rotors on my car over the holidays and realized I forgot to order caliper bolts (as they are a one time use...)

On December 26 ordered parts and immediately got confirmation of order, then next day a shipping confirmation... today received the parts... all during the holiday week and NY holiday...

I will continue to use Redpants for my basic, in stock parts...

Just wanted to share my recent experience.
