Has anyone tried these, or know how they would install on a 2007 Vantage? The pictures show them installed, but I don't see an existing threaded hole where they would go. They also make them for the 19-23 and show a threaded hole. I really like the idea of leaving them in, especially when taking the car to a shop.
The bolts likely just thread into the existing oblong holes already there. The steel bolts, if sized right will just bite into the aluminum rails just fine.
I bought the ones from the people that make the headlight venting kit in the UK. They are great, rubber type material and just slot in when you need them. Be aware that different year models have different fitment.
Jack Pad Instructions and Forged Wheel fitment next week
If they don't come with instructions, they will be sent back. Also, the custom forged wheels I commissioned for my V12S from Forza will arrive Wednesday (20" with extra offset) and I'll have a mobile tire service on Thursday see how they fit before ordering PS4's. So next week, I'll have two Aston items to report on this forum. I also don't see any place these Jack Pads screw into - so hopefully they work.
I made a set of these for my DB9 - not very expensive to do...
Short ones are for the front, Red is for the Right side. Remove the rubber hole plugs, and these silicone plugs pop in and hold them in place while I position my Quickjacks.
These take advantage of the entire lift point surface areas.
ZL1 Lift Pads arrived (and new wheels) - no instructions
Just got my Forza wheels and my ZL1 lift pads same delivery. I was told instructions in the box, none were in the package. So far no response on the E-Mail I sent. The wheels are 20" with almost an inch rear offset and 1/2" front offset. I have a mobile tire service coming tomorrow to verify fit before ordering a new set of PS4's.
There were no instructions, but I facetimed them and they stepped me through. I must have been the first Aston installation because the bolts they sent for the rear were not long enough. I was able to find longer bolts, so now they know to ship longer for the rear. The fronts just screwed into an existing hole not yet used, and the rears I removed a bolt and screwed the new one in. Super simple. Top picture was the front - bottom was the rear.
Thanks, I’ll take another look to see if I can find the front hole, the rear makes more sense now. I think these are the best solution. Do you see them from the side, or do you need to bend down?
