Does anyone know how long the Factory Warranty is? 2 or 3 years?

 

I know that on the 06 the warranty was in effect for 2 yr. / Unlimited mi.

No it's 3yr unlimited miles and exstenstions are available

 

The full factory warranty extensions must be purchased while the original factory warranty is still in effect. As long as it never goes out of warranty, you can extend indefinitely and get the full warranty.

If, however, the factory warranty (or extension) lapses, you can still purchase an extension, but it is not the full warranty. ALWAYS check the VIN with AM prior to purchasing. Period. They're happy to do it and share any history the car has with you. They can tell you what update campaigns the car has had (or hasn't), the complete maintenance history and whether the car has had any "issues". Caveated: as long as the work has been performed by an authorized AM dealer.
