How does the DB9 differ from the V8 Vantage performance and handling wise?

I personally prefer the styling of the DB9, such elegant car.

 

The DB9 is a larger car, a true GT, a 2+2. Great for long trips from, say Italy to France.. Lots of torque and endless power and comfort. It's a shade under 500hp and a V12.

The V8 Vantage is a smaller car (the same length as a 911) and only 2 seats - a real sports car, excellent handling and is more sportier than the DB9. Great exhaust noise, plenty of power for daily driving and canyon carving.
