both are great...my 2 cents

I just went through this decision and ended up buying a new RS4. I had driven the last two generations of M5 and found it to be a bit of a bulky feeling car. Less responsive than the Audi but definately a great touring sedan (probably the best out there). If you drive lot's of highway miles and want space for kids/friends then the M5 is the choice. For a more well rounded car my preference was for the RS4. After the first 1,000 miles I am very happy with the handling, looks and think that the interior sets up better than the M5. Can't go wrong either way...both are great but different.

I would definitely go with the M5, but only in 6spd manual.

You should drive one first then speak. RS4 is nice but i'd pick the M5 hands down and not because i own one. It would smoke the RS4 anyway.

They are both amazing vehicles but I must say, I've driven both and I would have to go with the RS4 on this one. Wait for the SuperCharger to finally come out and then we're talking business.

From what I hear it should be out within a few weeks....

MTM already has it, or haven't they released it 'to the public' yet?
