42 months seems like quite a long lease.

According to Dutch 'rules', the lease term covers mostly the depreciation and the maintenance costs of a vehicle.

I don't think a 55K-car would depreciate roughly 37K in 3 1/2 years. Or am I wrong?

That seems a little high. My 04 E500 was a sticker price of 60k. I lease it for 42 months with 3k drive off and my payments with tax is 860 per month.

Have you owned an Audi before? They seem to depreciate the most, at least in my experience... but I guess the higher you are, the faster you fall, I know the used 997's I looked at averaged about $35k less than new after just 1 year.

I guess it's the difference in depreciation then... Over here Audis are one of the most stable in value

By the way, I'd kill to drive a brand new S5 for $950/month, that's almost for free.

This car is leasing terrible right now. I went to one dealership and they quoted me 3k down and 988 a month. Another quoted me 1100 a month haha. I would guess for a 55k car it should be 800 - 850 but the 988 a month had a Residual Value of 57% and MF of .00303. I hate to see the 1100 a month MF
