PES S5 Dyno'd

For those who have been waiting, here is the dyno of the PES S5 ECU tuning. We own this car, so i drive it everyday and was able to really fine tune it. Gone is all the surgy/lumpiness that i felt on the stock tune.
The car is now very smooth at all load positions with a BIG jump in HP and TQ that you can really feel. The dyno numbers are to all 4 wheels. If you multiply by 1.25 it will give you the crank HP/TQ numbers. We are looking at 30HP and 20FT/LB "peak" gains to the crank. Notice the huge off peak gains. Just over 2000 RPM we are seeing a gain of 48FT/LB TQ to the crank!

Can't wait to put the supercharger on next! :D

nothing like a healthy torque curve, great work bro!

Thanks. We do some good things with our NA software.

That's impressive. Are there many mechanical differences vs. the RS4/R8 420hp motor or it is primarily tuning?

There are many mechanical differences from the S5 to the RS4/R8. Google it and you will find some extensive lists. The S5 is a great car and very sexy but lacks power. This added power makes the car much more enjoyable IMO. What it really needs is the SC though. With 450-475 HP I would have little complaints.

Is this tune only or I/E bolt-ons as well?

mbphreak Dec 14, 2008 12:55 AM

PM me price please...

And is there any way for me to get a custom tune with intake/down-pipes/catback factored in, without shipping my car off to the east coast? =)

Thanks,
many many tunes to get it like this. Sharpening my skills for the supercharger on the S5 hilarious

Wow, well done. I didn't think you could get gains like this from chip tuning on an N/A car.

I'm not familiar with PES; is this performed as a simple flash? Can you put it back to stock or toggle between modes? I don't have an S5 (yet) but I'd love to know the pricing. Can you PM or post the pricing?

Yes,
It is a simple flash. We do not offer switching at this time, however it is coming for 2009. We cant get this kind of powe for all NA cars, but we do for alot of them. We have a large amount of experience tuning NA cars. I have attached another dyno from an S8 that we did recently. We also currently tune for Porsche race team running 2 997's in the Rolex series.

The price is $1595.

Thanks for your interest.
