I just picked the car up on Monday and I love it. It's the perfect balance between luxury and sport. I must say that the quality of this car is impeccable! I have owned several exotics from Aston Martins to Ferraris, this car is one of my favorites. The car I bought is an '09, it has 1500 miles with R-Tronic, Carbon Blades, B&O and all carbon options.

I'm taking the R8 down to Evolution Motorsports next week for the EVOMS intake and ECU flash. I'm looking to do an exhaust as well. I'm looking for something with a more exotic sound and not so much the muscle car growl, does anyone have any suggestions?

Nice pick up man. I absolutely love my R8 as well. Most of the exhausts I 've heard do sound like muscle growl and not high pitch F-1. I was told that Capristo is more closer to the exotic sound .
Keep us posted on the Ecu and intake upgrades.

Outstanding car, best of luck with it. In regards to the exhaust, I just put the Stasis exhaust on my car and it is insane, its like driving a totally different car when u upgrade to that exhaust and like u said its unreal stock, wait to u put that exhaust on it, un freckin real!!!

Not yet - that's the problem! I explained in the other thread I cross-referenced but we developed the system for a Premiership Football player who lives in London and didn't want their car on video for privacy reasons. That's why we're offering a big discount to 6speeders in exchange for a bit of video.

 

VERY nice stable!! Charcoal P40s would look spectacular on the R8 IMHO.
