Hoov's S5

I have visited 6speed a lot, I thought that I should finally post pictures of my S5. Current mods include GMG exhaust/downpipes,matte black powder coated 19" rims, 20% tinted windows. Looking for new ideas, trusted aftermarket parts seem scarce. Currently looking for an all black grill and black window seals to replace the aluminum. Any other suggestions welcome! really nice ride, enjoy, how the handling with the awd?, and the torque on this bad boy.... are you going to do some upgrades or keep it stock?
p.s go with a ecu upgrade, i send you a guy info as a pm, and get a tubi exhaust, which really sounds nice, with headers, and that is pretty much it as far as keeping the car some what stock, there are a whole bunch of mods you can do though to get this car putting out over 500hp though, but you void out the warranty , i dont think you wanna do that...

Thanks, I love the car thus far. The Quattro AWD system is amazing, just wish it had more torque/HP given the weight of the car. I was skeptical about the GMG downpipes and exhaust prior to talking to Orrin at Eurosport LTD in Denver (I moved to Madison a few months ago), but he promised me that it was a great system. I'll post more pictures of the RS style matte black exhaust, but the more I have driven the car, the better it sounds. It has made a big difference! Any info that you have on an ECU flash would be great. If anyone has info on a Porsche/Audi tuner near Madison, that would be great. I have always taken my cars to Eurosport LTD in Denver and I'm hoping to find someone out here. Thanks for your help!
P.S how do you like your Ducati? Looks like you have a perfect mix w the C4S!

There isn't much you can do with these cars. Not too many aftermarket options. Exhaust & down pipe is just about all there is as far as performance goes. ECU flash only yields about 15hp and really not worth it considering the fact that you would void the warranty over 15hp. Do some suspension work. A good set of coilovers and a good alignment really improves the handling characteristics of the car.

Thanks for the comments, I'm planning on garaging it this winter. Hopefully there will be a few more mods available in Spring, one can hope. Def looking at suspension upgrades, other than that can do much right now without killing the warranty/extended warranty.

what aftermarket mods are out there to get it over 500hp? ONly one I know of is the supercharger and it's 50k, not worth it IMO. I have an S5 and I'm currently selling it since I"m not pleased with the torque/power. Looks are top notch and I get all kinds of compliments on that, but I want more guts!!

Nice car BTW though!

if you are looking for coilovers and retaining factory warranty, you could upgrade to STaSIS ohlins setup installed by authorized dealer..

have you completed VAG - COM updates, LED interior / License Plated Bulbs

AIR filter,,, I have BMC and love it..

Rear Sway bar when you do suspension..

Upgrade brakes with BBK??

Great car, glad to see some others in WI... Mine is in the garage staying warm at 60 degrees..

I'll have to change the air filter this spring. Mine is sitting comfortably inside as well. I am a little torn right now, thinking about selling the S5 and adding a 996TT or 997C4S. I just wish the S5 had more power. I like your S5 a lot, I def need to add a sway bar. Just trying to figure out if I will get back into a 911 instead. Glad to see other enthusiasts in WI as well!
