TT RS stock pads = Crap

Three track days and only 1800 Km's total and I need new pads and rotors. The left pad went right down to the rivers and gouged the rotor.

It's a short 3 km track and I only did half days. The shop was very surprised. Said it might have been a record.

A set of Pagid Blues are going on. On the plus side the new rotors are only $250.00 each. Much cheaper than the RS4 pads.

They also said Audi does not recommend putting the rotors on a lathe to clean the surface up.

Anyone else have a similar experience or am I really hard on the brakes???

Are you in Washington State? My friend works at an Audi dealer there, he had TT RS in the shop. He said the brakes were shot from some track days.

Not in Washington, in Toronto. My Aston has 12000 kms and two track days (same track) and I'm still on the OEM pads. They need replacing just now. The stock tires are still good too.

The TTRS has gone through a set of pads, rotors and tires. Hmmm...

My pads melted on the first track day I did and I was trying to be really easy on them.

Any idea what the part number is on the Pagid Blue Pads, or where you got them? Buddy of mine will surely need them soon. Bummer on them being toast so quickly.....
