Want To Buy - B6 S4 Avant

I'm looking for a B6 S4 Avant in silver, has to be an automatic tranny in good shape - mods would be a big plus
If anyone has one they are thinking of selling or know of anyone, I'd be interested...
TIA.

I had 2 b6's and loved both of them. The auto tranny is a POS though so I would not recommend that. As far as mods, Milltek full exhaust is about the best way to go, chipping doesnt do much for the NA V8 although APR has a SC now. The motor is not really built to handle a massive amount of HP though. You should be able to pick one up in the low $30k range as the depreciation was insane.

Thanks Secure...The car I am looking at right now is this one:

Seems a bit high or is that a pretty fair price ?
As far as the tranny goes, I'm looking for a daily driver and I've got my 997S for the real driving

Ok, for a daily, it will be good except that the gas mileage is ****. That car you are looking at is a $30k car. I would give it an extra $2k because it is CPO but no more.
As you can see from Manheim, the numbers are leaning toward the high $2xk to low $30k range.

****...great info man, thanks !! Aren't the Manheim numbers whoesale though ? Shouldn't a private party sale be more than Manheim ? Regardless, I agree with you, that car on autotrader looks like it'd be worth about $32-33k with the extended factory warranty.

I consider manheim the market as I prefer to buy my cars at a wholesale price when possible. Its pretty much a guarantee that if you buy at manheim you will have some equity in the car for a little while.

Couldn't agree more, but I can't buy at Maheim...yet.
Thanks for the info man, and the quick replies...
