I read that the new RS6 will not come to the U.S.

That's what has been said in the Blogosphere. Have not read anything official from Audi. Perhaps related to the fact that they only made a wagon, or vice versa. Just like the RS4 B5, I guess that half of them are going to end up in Switzerland ...

 

But the sedan version is testing at the ring, so you'll hopefully get most of the action overseas too. Except it won't come in rugsack-mode/avant.. Although, I sure hope it does. You guys deserve some decent cars over there

 

The avant definitely looks better than the sedan, nice fender flares... wish they did something more interesting with the headlights than just add the now token LED strip, something more akin to the R8 or new TT.

 

The red doesn't quite do it for me in the larger body style of the '6 - me likes this one much better!

 

Erm . . . the reason those look a little more boring compared to the RS6 Avant - is because those pix are merely the S6, and not RS6 !!!

 

Heard that it won't come Stateside.

Audi is still telling everyone no RS6 for the US. In either an Avant or Saloon version.

so it looks like the RS4 will be the last RS model we get for a while, which is ending production very soon
