Cool. I actually just bought an 88' Toyota 6-cylinder, 5-speed. It's lifted with 33"s. I took it off-road for the first time, it did great. And the second trip, I blew the clutch. I spoke to the previous owner (who was the original owner) and he said the clutch had never been replaced; so 137K miles isn't bad on the original clutch.
I waited over 30 days for an upgraded ACT clutch. But after 3 weeks, called to check the status on my order... to which they told me the clutch was on backorder. I asked why I wasn't notified, and they didn't say why. So I promptly cancelled my order and just did OEM for the time being.

It will take more abuse than you and the next owner will put out.
I had a friend that had one and flipped his truck smashed the roof flat, we took the clutch and tranny out and put it in my truck and it ran for another 20k miles of real abuse then I totalled the truck and sold the chassis to another guy that probably still runs it. They are crazy strong!
The stocker is in the midst of being installed. If it goes again, then I'll put something stronger, but this truck is for winter only, if it makes it to spring, I'll be happy; and then just use it bobbing around off road.
