I just used Intercity to transport my 996tt from VA to CA and it was just a terrific experience all around. Previously, I had used Amerifreight a few years ago and they were really good as well, but reading online what Intercity does in terms of loading and taking care of your car made it totally worth it to go with them.

Inside the truck, the car is covered, first with a cover, then with plastic. No chance of anything dripping on your car and with the full enclosure, no chance of rock chips or any such nonsense. The condition the car leaves is the condition it arrives in.

Most of the other shippers I looked into just contracted with random open-air transporters. Not worth the risk to me. Highly recommend these guys.
