Never thought I'd do this, but a new one is on the way. For sale is my 2005 Carrera S that is set up for both street and track use. I am the original owner and have meticulously built and maintained this car since new. Karl Wilen, formerly of Imagine Auto and well known on this board, has done all the work on this car including routine maintenance.

The car has 13,700 miles and has been used as an occasional street ride and for 5 -6 DE events per year. It is currently set up with the radio, speakers and amplifier, and air conditioner/condensors removed and weighs in at just under 3000 lbs with no driver, no fuel. The car will sell with two sets of Champion wheels and tires and include the original power/heated seats, PCM/speakers/amplifier, air conditioner compressor/condensors and all hardware. This is a well sorted, well maintained car in excellent overall condition. I have lots of $ invested. Asking $75,000 and I'll deliver it within 1000 miles of Kansas City where the car is located. SOLD

 

That's a very cool car! This appears to be a well modified and well sorted out car. There are a lot of expensive components in this car, and it would be a steal for anybody considering a car with these mods.

If I were you, I would first see if a buyer comes along that wants this car the way it is. (I sold a fully loaded/ track modified 996 Turbo with two sets of wheels, etc...for a really good price to a buyer who loved all of my mods)

If it isn't selling, I would part out your car...starting with the 997GT3 Euro seats. You easily have $6-10K (new at $12K) right there, that a buyer of your car will get for free at your current price point.

Car is a stunner, my guess is the best option on this would be to part out and pit back to stock do to the cost of the high end mods.
