Thanks! From the ad:
-residual = $37914.00 (after 3 yr lease)

TBH, I doubt anyone would be interested buying the car at the end of the lease. With current economy used car values plummeted and residuals are almost always lot higher then market value. Porsche Financial (or their insurance) will have to deal with it at the end of the lease.

You either have super low lease payment and high residual or high payment and lower residual - all other factors (such as MF) being equal.

Most likely this is the best deal you'll get on CS

one of the problem is that PFS will not allow a complete lease take over. so you will have to stay on the lease which opens you to liability. i had this issues many times with prior porsche leases..

I am aware of that policy. PFS said they are very selective who they accept on the lease (must have excellent credit history), so while I'm still taking a risk, hopefully it's minimized by this.

Hmm..I guess things have changed. I did a complete lease take over in early 90's.

Very nice car and free bump!.
