What's the exchange rate these days?

Sports Cars cost up too 4 times as much in Australia so this would almost make sense. $55K dollar car here in the states.

yes guys, the car is for sale in Australia. I have no intention of selling it overseas, but if someone wants to do that I can find out how much shipping would cost.

that's the price we get for being such a small country with a lot less demand for these vehicles than you guys in North America. :mad:

Its actually the price we pay for having a government that punishes people who are financially successful because it thinks that succeeding in business is unfair to all those people who never succeeded because they were too lazy to get off their asses.

Brand new the 996 GT2 was $440k AUD including taxes in Australia in 2002. That equates to $430k in USD at todays exchange rate. Think about that next time your government mentions a universal public health care plan.
