Peter sorry for the OT but I have a question about mod-ing Lambos or any other high end car. Does it make sense to buy or lease the car you plan on doing an extensive mod to.

There seems to be quite a few guys on this thread(Peter,Jamie,Eric,Tim) that might be able to help me answer this question.

 

I personally would never mod a leased car more than a flash and exhaust. Easily reversible when lease it up.

I also have a problem buying a brand new high end car that has a huge depreciation hit coming.

 

I have never leased a high end car,especially one I plan on modding. I am sure there are some out there that do.I was trying to get some feed back to see if it makes financial sense.

Paulie, I think it depends on whether or not you plan to keep the car. I only lease my wife's daily driver b/c I know the kids will destroy it.
