Twin Turbo G35 w/ very low miles & 700+hp

Model: G35
Price: $38000
Mileage: 18500
Color: Ivory Pearl/White
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): MI

$38,000.00 OBO - Trades considered for other sports cars - Cayman S, 996TT, M3, RS4 or similar. I already have a truck, an SUV and a motorcycle, so no need for those. Thanks for looking

Up for sale is my fully built twin turbo 2007 G35 Coupe. It has very low miles (less than 18,500 actual) and has always been a weekend car that has never been driven in snow and has not even been driven in rain during my ownership. The car has been on road trips from Texas to Michigan and back from Atlanta to Michigan with no issues whatsoever.

This car has been built with the best parts and components by one of the best and most trusted shops in the industry, Forged Performance. There have been no shortcuts taken with this car. Every aspect of performance has been modified (power, brakes, suspension) with the goal of maintaining a “sleeper” aspect. There are no aftermarket body add ons and short of the aggressive stance, the car looks stock. You can barely spot the FMIC through the stock front bumper.

This is my second built/twin turbo G35 that I have had Forged Performance build. My first TT G35 was let go of due to a divorce situation. I terribly regretted selling that car and had to have another. I found this ’07 down in Texas. The car already had over $50,000.00 in aftermarket work done by the previous owner (all previous work done by Forged Performance as well). I drove the car from Austin, Texas to Michigan without any hiccups, but the car was only pushing roughly 500whp and seemed to lack mid to high rpm power due to the small turbos and stock head/cam configuration. I didn’t put too many miles on the car before deciding to send the car back to Forged for bigger turbos, headwork, cams, meth injection and many additional supporting mods.

The car is very, very docile. The car always starts easily whether it is hot or cold. It idles very smoothly and does not stall. It is relatively quiet until the boost actuated cutouts open above 7psi, then it is an absolute beast.

The car is currently tuned for either 93 octane or 93 octane with meth. Sharif at Forged is known for tuning for reliability and drivability over bragging numbers, yet the car put down over 613rwhp (DynoDynamics) in the middle of summer in Atlanta at only 18.5. Stock G35’s put down 210rwhp on this dyno. With some race gas and a few more psi, 700+rwhp is easily attainable. There are a few 350Zs with a the same turbos and less mods doing over 800rwhp with race gas.

Below are most of the modifications performed to date. The turbos, fuel system, clutch, cams, headwork, meth injection system, FMIC and piping all have less than 3,000 miles on them. The wheels and tires have less than 2,000 miles on them are are in perfect condition.

Known issues:

-There is a crack in the driver’s side upper bumper cover mount. It cannot be seen unless the hood is open.
-There is a small oil leak from a fitting on the return line from the driver’s side turbo. It should be an easy fix, but it would take a lift or an acrobat with amazing flexibility to reach the turbo. I made Forged aware of the leak and they are willing to fix it for the new owner.

As someone who came very close to doing a similar project on my G35 (it was very expensive, I ended up buying my GT2 instead) I can vouch for the fact that Forged Performance/Shariff is the best.

Why the sale?

Very expensive to modify, indeed

The main reason for the sale is that, although I have had a lot of fun, I have been in a G35 since 2004. I am ready for a new direction. Hopefully the Porsche direction.

Thanks, Kent.

A few additional details:

- Car has Defi gauges and control unit (oil pressure, fuel pressure, boost/vacuum gauges)
- Air/fuel ratio is constantly displayed on the knock amp above the nav screen
- The Tein suspension is adjustable on the fly using the EDFC unit in the upper glove box
- There are LED lights mounted in the ash tray for the methanol injection system
- Car has power and heated seats, air conditioning blows ice cold, cruise control still works
