FS: 2002 Porsche Carrera 4S PRESTINE

Year: 2002
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $28000
Mileage: 89000
Color: Silver
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Transmission: Manual

With great disappointment, I need to sell my baby. I just had my second child and this is not cutting it anymore. I have a 2002 911 C4S with 88k miles. She is a garage queen that has never seen the track. Just a few months ago, I replaced the clutch and complete fluid change. Also, just received and new rebuilt gear box. I have full bumper to bumper warranty that is good through July 2015 or 133k miles(Warranty is transferable). She is in pristine condition and needs a new caring owner. All service records available. Clean title and NEVER in an accident! Here is a list of items I have done....

New clutch
New rebuilt gearbox
Fisker Exhaust(Modest but noticeable)

Asking $28000 as I need it sold asap for personal reasons.

Feel free to contact me with any Questions..

George

37 views and not a single reply? I am open to any suggestions that might help expedite the sale. Almost all of you have bought or sold and Porsche so I would like a buyers input on this.

Thanks!!

Your car is a beauty ! keep it ! If I didn't already own one I'd be interested. Love the rims.

Would love to....but with two car seats and a stroller its not working for me. Will definitely get back into it once the kiddos are a bit older.

Constructive criticism:

Remove KN intake and replace with factory air box.

Remove 20" wheels and sell them off separately and put back stock wheels.

Also think of removing the tints to increase your buyer pool.

Take better pics in better lighting including the interior.

Even though there is warranty on the car, it might be worthwhile to offer IMS retrofit credit which you can get from the sale of the 20" wheels.

That's a start.

But considering its winter, you have that working against you too.

I have considered putting the car back to stock which I will do if I don't get any bites in the next few weeks. Considering I am in Los Angeles, I figured giving it a shot as is. Plus, its almost 80 degrees here today so that's a plus.

I understand and local sale is the least hassle and the easiest transaction. However us Midwest and Right coast guys have been known to often shop for Cali cars as they have the least corrosion and lack of heat damage unlike Nv and AZ cars.

I would have no problem selling out of state and being winter might be a good time to pick up a sweet deal ready for spring.

I agree with putting her back to stock. The aftermarket mods are great but most Pcar buyers are looking for OEM. Part out your MODS to decrease your loss. Be patient and don't sell it to any low ball offers. Maybe sell it through a local dealer on consignment basis. See how much % they take. (Exposure) Tint I'd leave it. If you're in the neighorhood of Irvine you might want to try taking it down to Cars and Coffee on Saturdays. Great place to get exposure for your ride. Hope that helps..GL with sale...I also had my second baby and keeping my 4S is in question.
