Hello and thanks for reading!

After much thought and consideration, I have decided the time has come to sell my 2001 325i. This car has been under my ownership for almost TEN years and has been absolutely pampered since day once. This car was originally purchased in Naples, FL. It then spent seven years in Georgia before ultimately returning to Naples. (PICTURES BELOW)

I cannot stress how much this car has been babied. Other cars have sacrificed their lives so that this one could live on. It has never been a daily driver and its mileage reflects that. When I bought the car it had 38k. At 88k current miles you can see that I've put only 50k in almost ten years. This means it's seen an average of ~5,000 miles a year. Whenever it was raining out, I always drove whatever other car was available at the time, and it has never in its life seen snow.

Over time I have purchased many high end modifications for the car both internally and for the interior and exterior. I've always bought only quality parts for this car and have had them all installed by the most reputable mechanic in Georgia (to my knowledge).

As far as maintenance goes, it is probably ahead of schedule considering I have it serviced regularly by a family friend and certified BMW technician at a large BMW franchised dealer. Instead of changing the oil every 15k as recommended, I have it changed once a year, and I have only ever put 93 octane in the tank.

The car has been in zero accidents. The only paintwork on the car at all is when I had the front bumper redone with PPG paint at a highly qualified body shop so that I could get rid of any scrapes on the bottom (the car is lowered) and any small chips.

Here is a list of much of the modifications on the vehicle:

19" Black metallic HRE 549r's (almost gunmetal grey)
Toyo Proxes 4 tires (brand new)
UUC Corsa Cat Back Exhaust
GruppeM intake
Jim Conforti Chip (Shark Injector)
UUC Underdrive Pulleys

JleviSW xenon projector headlights
Predator Chromium angel eyes
Alpine white grille
Xenesis high beams
CF pillars
Black alcantara (suede) door and dash trim
AC Schnitzer shift **** (authentic)
ACS pedals (authentic)
ACS e-brake (authentic)
Custom embroidered floor mats (can be changed at your disgresion)
H&R Sport Springs
Clear corners, sidemarkers, and tails (all from Bimmian, the highest quality available ($$))

Sound System:
2 12" Diamond Audio subs
2 2000 watt DA amps
Dynamat (2 layers in trunk, 1 in all doors)
DA D6 speakers (10)
DA 4 channel cap
Alpine D-310 touchscreen
Slimline PS2 hardwired and hidden.

Just the sound system alone was over six thousand dollars including parts and labor. I should say, the sound system was built for a purpose. It delivers some of the nicest sound you will hear, with speakers that are crisp and clear, and with subwoofers that have absolutely ZERO rattle. This build was definitely trial and error, but was worth it to me in the long run. This is studio quality sound and therefore although I have thought about parting it out, I would like to leave it as is, if possible. Every modification that I have put on this car has been "OEM Plus".

I never wanted this car to scream for attention and in my mind always thought it to be how it should have came from the factory. It handles better than before, looks better, sounds better, and overall performs to a better standard. The condition of the car reflects the amount of pampering it has received. I have only hand washed this car in its entire life. It has never seen car wash. There are absolutely ZERO scratches or dings on this car. It is as close to perfect as a 2001 can get. The leather was always treated with Byron's Leather Care from Bimmian and has a great soft (not greasy) feel to it. The car has never been smoked in and smells like a new car. There are no stains on the carpet. Most recently, I paid $600 to have a black suede headliner put in by a shop that specializes in headliners and upholstery. As you may know, headliners become an issue in these cars and since the woodgrain trim has been wrapped in black suede I thought it would look nice if the roof matched. It maches very well. The car also has recently (past 6 months) received new brake rotors and pads (dustless), the HRE's polished to a factory like shine, and then wrapped the wheels with brand new TOYO Proxes 4 tires. I have used these tires for years and have found them to be quiet with great longevity. I am a strong believer that no matter how nice a car is, tires can ruin it. Only 4 things touch the ground and that's the tires. I am quite picky on what I ride on and therefore never replace "just the front two, etc"....

This car rides like new and gets good gas mileage. It would make for a perfect commuter car, dailer driver, or maybe even a first car for a lucky someone. With all of the work that's gone into it in the past 6 months (new tires, brake work, interior work, etc) this car is good to GO for a long time!! With such low miles, it has only been driven a small portion of its long life.
PRICE: 11,800 OBO with HRE's

Very interesting setup. I almost want to buy it due to how unique it is. Do you still have the original rims/tires? How "good" is the gas mileage?
Also, what are the current rim/tire specs?
I found that this car comes with traction control as an option oddly, does it have it? I'm in MN so may come in handy.
I would have to agree, I couldn't hit that price for sure. But maybe if you can convince me, we can work something out lol.

Mar48 - the car is just too well put together to part out. I would consider the wheels and tires as a package but other than that it would be more work than its worth, thanks for the bump though

Thanks for the compliments. I DO have the original wheels and tires, but the tires are dried out by now... The current specs are 19x8.5, 19x9, All new Toyo Proxes 4's in 235/30/ZR19, 245/35/ZR19.

The gas mileage isnt bad at all... I get 18-19mpg strictly stop go. Then I hop on the highway and get ~24mpg. This car does have traction control which in BMW terms is called DSC, or Dynamic Stability Control.

If you're concerned with being able to use this as a daily driver in MN, don't be. My buddy Alec has the same car with an almost identical wheel setup in MN and is fine! He loves it. The reason why I chose the P4's, also is because of their all weather super high performance rating, rather than say, the Toyo T1R's on my M3 which are a summer performance tire.

As far as the price goes, I'll shoot you a PM. If you are serious I will make it worth while for you.

John
