Damn... this car is on my short list and I'm in the Charlotte area. Just bought a vacation home though so not sure the wife would let this fly at this time. I'll keep an eye on the thread just in case

Appreciate the offer. I'll run it by her just in case. She's a car person as well and likes these, so it may work in my favor. Timing is just off... but who knows. Thanks again...

Good looking Atom 3. Like the gold wheels against the black chassis.

I would love to have one of these some day. In what way was it too much for you? I'm curious as I see you are no stranger to fast and powerful cars

Because "fast and powerful" doesn't even begin to describe the raw driving experience in a supercharged K20A-powered Atom, which will run 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and pull between 2-3 lateral Gs on a track (with Hoosiers). After driving an Atom, everything else feels lethargic. No driver's aids whatsoever (traction control, competition mode, ABS, etc...) You are totally rewarded for successfully driving an Atom at the edge of the envelope and fully penalized for going over the edge. No computer will step in and save you, or the car.

There's nothing like it that can wear a license plate.

Its a couple inches too close to death with a 3 month old son that id like to teach some things to before I check out. Its an amazing car but I don't have time or really the desire to track it and everything its really awesome at is a felony.
