At that price it would be worth buying just to take it to the track and to car shows.
BTW, it looks fantastic. Good luck with the sale.

You can legally bring it into the USA on a trailer, drive it on a track and haul it to car shows. To legally register it and drive it on the streets it must undergo US spec conversion. I think Motorex is the only one doing this type of service.

There are other importers who can import and legalize skylines for a quarter of the price of what motorex charges.

How can anyone legalize this for US street use? Motorex is now defunc and the EPA changed the Skyline import laws. Perhaps RBMotoring could do it, I am not sure nowadays because RB used to go through motorex for most of the work.
There is **currently** no one in the US capable of fully legalizing any GTRs. Not Motorex, not RBMotoring, not anyone. Do not believe anyone who says there are people who can, because you are kidding yourself.

I wish there was some way to know for sure, I keep hearing mixed results. Searching around, the NHTSA's own website has a FAQ about importing skylines, and they themselves say 1990-1999 skylines ARE eligable for import on a car by car basis.
Now if there is an eligable RI that will import the car for you is another story. Thats what I want to find out, can RB Motoring or anyone else do this?
