Why dont you post some pics of the imperfections. Maybe they are not as bad to someone as you describe. I posted my friends 99 Berlinetta yesterday on Ebay and it sold in 12 minutes. Red/tan gated with 24000 miles. Sold for 75k.

Just want to reiterate - the car has some issues but runs great.

My advice to anyone in the 355 market is this: if you have the time/tools/ability to work on a car, this is a great project car. If you have no time, not that much spare cash, and want a great condition f355, this is absolutely not the car for you. There are several 355s on the market now in much better condition than mine, but you'll have to spend $20k more...

 

You're probably going to have to take a big hit if you want to move this thing. You said major service is due, which is expensive as hell and it has several imperfections that will cost a few more thousand to fix. There's someone selling a '99 F355 with 50k miles for 42k and probably doesn't have as many issues. GLWS, though!

 

Was the major completed or still outstanding?

 

My $5000 major turned into a $9800 major once they got into it! These things are scary if not maintained properly and even if they are.
