2002 BMW M Coupe

24 Attachment(s)
Ultra Rare 2002 BMW Z3 M Coupe with S54 M Motor. 112k miles Saphire Black over black leather. 3 Owners. This collectible BMW was just completely and profesionally serviced by one of the most respected BMW specialists including a BMW Inspection II Service (including valve adjustment). Both the brake fluid and coolant replacement services were performed. Rear subframe bushings were replaced and upgraded with Ireleland Engineering bushings. There is a TC Kline single adjustable suspension kit. Rear shocks were just replaced with Bilstein sports to eliminate noise. Rear brakes (rotors and pads) were also replaced. New front control arm bushings installed. New Bridgestone Pole Position S04 tires, front and rear. The only shortcoming is the sunroof is inoperative as the hardware kit is on special order (back order) from BMW and will be provided to the new owner upon receipt

I have all documentation and service history including the original window sticker. Oil changes every 5k miles. All keys and manuals. Always in California. Clear California title in hand.

You will not find a better maintained "turn key" M Coupe anywhere. This car drives phenomenally well and will bring lots of smiles and thumbs up :) This is for the serious buyer and true collector. No disappointments.

Car is a blast to drive and the perfect daily driver to complement your 911 garage queen. :)

Finding a well cared for S54 coupe for this price with a clear title is rare. Someone is going to get a great deal!

GLWS!

What did you base your asking price off of? I only ask because I priced it out and didn't get to the same asking price.

The link below has some great information on the E36/8 M Coupe.
http://www.mcoupebuyersguide.com/
The biggest thing about this car that makes it worth so much is that it has the S54 engine. The early M Coupes (99-00) had the S52 which only had 240hp, the later models (01-02) had the S54 with 320hp. There were a 2,180 total S52 Coupes made for the US market but only 690 S54 cars. So, this is a fairly rare car. If I were in Cali I would probably buy it, but I've already made an offer on an S52 Coupe in Hawaii where I live.

I also was the fortunate owner of an S54 MCoupe. Throw the book out the window with these cars- less than 700 made it to the US in total, so pricing is based on condition as opposed to any book value. . I sold my 2001 with 76k miles to the first bidder with a few back ups at what I can see now as a below market price to a gent who flipped it In a few months for more. This car was market correct.
