Up for sale is a unique Porsche 996 C2 Cabrio. Hardtop included (mint condition, seal grey). Get look of a beautiful 997 front end without the price! Only 27K OBO.
Since I had it, I've driven it less than 2k miles, however, I drive it on a weekly basis 1 or 2 days, back and fourth to the gym, etc. So it's "staying alive". Pros: - IMS Bearing installed less than 500 miles ago - Fabspeed exhaust (no tips yet, I have OEM) (less than 1k miles) - Prior design PD3 front end converted to 997 with 99.71 headlights, and 997.2 fogs (less than 500 miles) - 997.2 fogs / led / blinker full functional with OEM Switch - GT2 style wheels (white) less than 1k miles with tires - Fully adjustable Yellow DPS coilover system (less than 1k miles) - Interior rear is mint, front is near perfect with a "fade" stain on the driver seat, I've put product on it and eliminated the "fade", it comes back after a few months. - Techart style rear bumper (less than 500 miles) - GT3 style side rockers (less than 500 miles) - carbon fiber mirror covers (less than 500 miles) - soft top is 100% fully functional, works without any issues, up and down fast Cons: - 99% complete, requires a little of work - NO exhaust tips installed (I have OEM which bolt right on) - Side rockers need to be adjusted and installed properly (they are test fitted on with 3m tape) - Primer still visible on the 2 pillars along with scratches (easy to touch up) - Fenders need to be re-aligned a little (easy, just adjust the screws) - Front driver side headlight has small crack on lens, you should replace it - front passenger side headlight needs to be buffed and cleaned (yellowish tint, not bad, see pics) - Fender on driver side is too close to door - soft top has the typical "wear" seen on these for being closed for too long - rear passenger window regulator is shot, needs to be replaced - front windows do not go down the inch or so they need to when you open the door, this is a common problem, most 996's i've seen have this problem, you might need a new regulator, or you can do one of the many "fixes" to solve this. The interior has all the parts, i took it apart to install my navigation, however, I'm looking to buy a 997.1 GT3, so I've decided not to finish it, all I have to do is put the dash parts back together. I also have all the OEM front bumper, OEM rear bumper, and Techart style side skirts. |
