Up for sale is a well sorted and very cool ’32 Ford Roadster. Selling for my father who purchased this car in 2006 from a seller in the Midwest. Unfortunately, my father is running out of room due to new acquisitions, and as such he’d like to see the roadster go to a new home and be enjoyed. Car has been driven sporadically over the last 9 years; only on nice spring/summer days and to the occasional car show. Its covered less than 1k miles during his ownership and not more than 8k miles since the initial build. It’s truly an attention getter: I’ve never filled up for gas and not been asked a ton of questions or been given a ton of thumbs-up! Car sounds utterly fantastic with a lopey idle and you can’t help but smile when you open up the throttle. The provided video truly doesn’t do the idle or revs justice in the least! Unfortunately we cannot locate the records indicating the exact specs on the motor/body/frame manufacturer, though I have uploaded a boatload of pictures to fill in any gaps and have listed what we do know below: ’32 Roadster Body – Fiberglass – arrow straight. · Chevrolet 350 Motor · Lumpy Cam—sounds FANTASTIC · Holley Carb · Holley vacuum fuel pump · MSD Ignition System · Holley High-Rise Polished Aluminum IntakeManifold · Dual Exhaust – Dumps Below Doors · All Braided Oil/Fuel Lines with AN Fittings · 9 Row Oil Cooler (Mounted to Passenger FrameRail) · Aluminum Radiator (w/ 16” Puller Fan) · Flaming River Steering Components · Coilover Front Suspension with Triangulated 4-LinkRear Suspension · Brakes: Front Disc, Rear Drum · American Racing Polished Aluminum Wheels (wrappedin Bridgestone Front, Nitto Rear Tires) · Beautiful hand-Stitched Interior. Red Leatherwith matching red stitching · Autometer Gauges (VDO Speedo, Oil Pressure,Water Temp, Volts, Fuel) · Automatic Transmission · Detachable Chopped Roof included (fabric) in additionto removable side windows. We’ve never used either, though both are in perfect shape! The Bad:
Overall paint is in excellent shape. Pics were taken in full sun and show the overall condition. Leather is conditioned routinely, paint is washed and waxed regularly and car is stored in an indoor facility out of the elements with a trickle charger attached at all times. This car would make for the perfect Sunday driver or would be a great car for your weekend cars and coffee…very reliable and a ton of fun. I’ve tried to provide all known details, though am happy to research/poke around the car and take additional pictures and/or answer additional questions for a serious buyer. Car is located in Lexington, Virginia (about 120 miles from Richmond, VA) and a PPI would be welcome…though finding a shop to perform inthe immediate area may be difficult given the rural setting. Asking price for the vehicle is $33,000. Attachment 504726 Attachment 504727 Attachment 504728 Attachment 504729 Attachment 504730 |
