Restored in 2004/2005 by Best of Britain:

Engine & transmission rebuilt

New pistons, rings, engine berarings

Flywheel balanced, Carbs rebuilt

Completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal

All rust cut out w/ new metal welded in

Body sanded/worked to laser straight & repainted

All chrome & brightwork re-plated & polished



Interior is excellent condition

All electronics work & gauges function (except for clock, disclosed below)

I have an original & fully functioning Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio (pictured, $500 value) that will come with car in addition to Retrosound unit that is currently installed

Fully documented (receipts going back decades & full restoration receipts & photo album)

Rust free

Bottom of car is very clean



Recent Work Completed (June 2015) by Steve’s Jaguar (best classic Jag repair in Los Angeles) totaling = $3243

- Updated / Improved Electric Fan (Cool Cat), wiring & belt

- Correct expansion tank support brackets installed

- All new coolant hoses & clamps

- Fluid & Filter (Oil, Brake, Coolant) Change

- New champion spark plugs

- Carbs adjusted

- Reverse & Handbrake warning lights replaced

- Muffler system brackets tightened

- Adjust & fix all rubber door & hatch seals

- Retrosound Model 2 Radio ($600 installed)



Redline tires

Spare on Dayton wire wheels w/ knock-offs

Correct Jack, Hammer & Carry Bag

Title clear and in-hand

Two keys (which are keyed to ignition & doors) w/ awesome vintage Jag keychains

o One very small paint chip on front bonnet (pictured at link in photo gallery)

o One very small paint bubble on front bonnet (pictured at link in photo gallery)

o Minor chrome pitting on rear left & right light housings (pictured at link in photo gallery)

o Clock does not work (common)

Wow, what a beautiful car, numbers matching, fully rebuilt, interior done right, chrome all redone. All the little details taken care off, I love cars that look perfect underneath. I remembered reading the authenticity cert and that the color was changed and questioned why you did that to such a well restored car. Reread it and saw original color was CREAM. Makes sense haha. GLWS.
