Hi, guys.
Me again, with another ridiculous car. Selling this one for a friend, he's looking to get into something else and needs to free up some room in the garage, so he's selling his 2005 NSX. Car is an original Long Beach Blue Pearl car with Onyx Black interior and a six speed manual transmission. As all North American NSXs after 2002, it's a targa top, which removes easily and stores in a compartment above the engine. One surly chap can remove the top by himself, otherwise I'd recommend two people, so you don't drop it on your fancy sports car. It has every factory option as far as I can tell, such as Xenon HID headlights, factory blue gauges, silver interior trim, perforated leather interior, factory Bose stereo.
As stated above, the car does have a salvage title. It was involved in a rear-end collision early in its life. When the car was repaired after this crash, it was fitted with a Versus widebody kit (replica of the Sorcery kit), H&R lowering springs, JGTC Light Weight exhaust, Uni high flow air filter, low scoop carbon air intake, and Volk TE37 wheels 18 x 8.5 front, 19 x 10.5 rear. Exhaust sounds fantastic, not too loud for daily driving but still gives it a nice growl under throttle.
Good:
- This car absolutely breaks necks everywhere you drive it. Caused quite a splash at Ice Cream Cruise the last two years.
- Mechanically sound, just got a new thermostat and cooling system check/overhaul.
- Sounds phenomenal.
- Supercar looks with Honda reliability.
Bad:
- Salvage title (obvs)
- The car could use an alignment
- The paint is a little tired, especially on the front bumper. There are some chips and flaws in the paint all around the car.
Asking $45k OBO. All offers will be entertained, owner needs to sell the car sooner than later. Text, email, or PM me with questions, number is 402.819.8286. No trades. Thanks!

Valid question! I'm not sure how hard it would be. Versus, the company that made the kit, is still operational as far as I know, and located in California.

This has been a question the owner and I have been getting a lot (understandably so).
No documentation whatsoever has made its way along with the car, documenting the rebuild or anything. To give potential buyers some peace of mind, I'm taking to the car to a frame & alignment shop next week to have it inspected and see what's what. I don't foresee the car having any frame issues, but I will make sure we know for certain before the car goes to a new home.
