Im confused on the sales tax and how you control it. Someone buys the car and when they register it, the DMV collects the tax. So unless you are willing to state that you sold the car for less than you actually did, it's not going to save the buyer.

Great car though and seems like a good price.

I believe certain states don't have a sales tax on privately bought cars (i.e., not through a dealer) when registering. However, this would of course be dependent on the state of registration, not the state of sale, so OPs statement is only valid *if* you plan on registering the car in a state where private sales aren't subject to tax...(of which I am guessing AZ is one... I think NV is as well).

So, you're right. It doesn't matter to the majority of buyers, and actually may be misleading to most if they aren't familiar with their own states rules and regs.

Yep. OP registers the car under the buyer's name in AZ, then the Buyer takes the AZ title and tells their own DMV that they are simply moving registration, thus avoiding sales tax.

Correct, it will depend on where you live. I assume whoever buys the car will know the sales tax and registration laws in their state.

Most likely with some creative thinking you can come up with a way around that. All you usually have to have is a specific type of bill that comes to an AZ address.

Id prefer to pick up my cars myself, but maybe some people don't have the time. I just trailered my Porsche to the new owner in California because he was short on time.
