Selling my 2002 Carrera 996...begrudgingly...4th owner, I bought it in 2010 and it was a CPO car until 2011. Great Car! It was a DD for me for several years while being a solid car on the track for about 2-3 events per year. I am driving it much less now and due to a new addition to the family, I will need to part ways in the coming months.
The car has 111,880 on the odometer, but the engine was replaced by Porsche at approx 81k. So approximately 30k on the motor now. This is why I’m asking more than a typical 996 with 110k miles…as well as having a tunable GT3 suspension now. Corner balanced for a 180lb driver. Everything in the car works well and is mechanically solid.
As the car sits now: $30,000
- GT3 coil-overs and GT3 adjustable sway bars, Tarett Links. Corner balanced for driver ~ 180lbs, -1.5 camber all the way around. All rear suspension parts replaced with adjustable links.
- Deep sump kit installed in the last 3k miles
- Foam air filter with some mods to the factory air box – silicon hoses
- GT3 brake cooling ducts (front only)
- Fabspeed X-pipe with sport cat
