WTB: PCCB's Or Brembo's
 

Looking for a nice set of ceramic brakes or perhaps a Brembo big brake kit for my 996TT.

For the 996TT Brembo offers more than 6 different options. These are just a few question to help me dial in a recommendation. Any other information about systems or set ups that you have used and liked/disliked in the past could also be a help.

Lets see...I am running PSS9's, about 700hp and it's a daily driver. Looking for great pedal feel and nice initial bite. How about a group buy on some Brembo's?

All of our systems offer an improved pedal feel over stock.
Modulation/control with the Brembo systems is a characteristic that sets them apart from other manufacturers and brake system options.
Initial bite is a combination of the system itself and the pad compound we chose.

As a general rule of thumb, the larger the disc, the firmer the pedal.
14" is firmer than stock...15" is firmer than 14".

The reason I asked about wheel size is because that is sometimes the limiting factor.
18" wheels will rarely allow a 15" disc.
19" wheels will open you up to all of the options.

More often than not, those of us who are tracking our cars will favor the system with more weight savings.
The 14" systems are lighter, saving -6.5lbs per corner.
The 15” version will put you at a savings of -3.3lbs per corner.
(***weight savings are as compared to the OEM cast iron disc)

Just from your request for a "great pedal feel and initial bite", I can guarantee that any of our systems will fill that request. The information about driving style, purpose and what your experiences in the past have led you to prefer will definitely help me fine tune a recommendation.

IE:
Track guy's = Weight savings, more pad selections, smaller wheels

Show & Go guys = Bigger is better, comfort and control(pedal feel), and aesthetics.
