Pure ******baggery.

Back to the insurance thing - that could ultimately be a real hurdle.

steve, we did something similar a while back. however, in california, one cannot get an individual insurance coverage on a vehicle unless their name is on the registration. so the only way it would work is for this person's name to be added to your policy with both of your names on it. at least this is what i was told. don't mean to change the topic of your thread but since it was brought up.

That seems like a very very expensive short term lease with some insurance complications and laibility issues tied to it.

m5

I think that if any of you out there are like me this is a very sweet deal. Because if you go out and but a new one and 8 or 9 months later you bored with it, i would bet that your hit that you would take would be much grater than 25k..So in all reality this is in fact a great deal for someone. So either take the guy up on his generosity or leave him alone..

For someone like you, it probably is. If you are not interested and/or are not capable of entering into the transaction, stay off the thread n00b.

Yeah like you're gonna have it shipped to NZ.

I know a guy who leased one for 2200 a month. Someone might think its a good deal or fills a hole for them.
