pccb steel rotors and pads
pccb steel rotors and pads

If you guys track your pccb rotors this what will happend

Do your self a favor and save the ceramic rotors they are not track worthy.
I have a set of steel rotors by Performance Friction and pads
that are great at the track.
the whole set up has 2k miles on it and no track time.
they are a bit noisy when cold, but once you get them up to temp
they work perfect.
picture when they where installed

I paid over 2k for the pads rotors and hats.
will sell for $900 inc ship

Boris,
I don't want to seem in any way rude, but here are the questions I think most potential buyers are wondering.....
1- Please specify which exact pad those are.
2- Can you supply a good image of the side of the rotors so it is clearer how much wear they do-or don't have?
3- Can you supply specs for these new and what is the minimum thickness? Same with the pads? Honestly, in the image the pad seem to have a LOT of wear for only 2k and only street use. If you could help out with more info?
Last- why are you selling them? [this is always the fun question to answer.... :-> ]
Thanks
John Rice

Excuse me TX but I did not suggest his brakes are inferior except to state that the pads appear unduly worn for 2k of street driving. Is this inapprop? I AM .. or maybe I was... a potential buyer. I am not so stupid that I am going to buy someone's prematurely worn out parts and since there is really not a good description of them I asked. If this is rude at least I was polite about it and I certainly cannot say the same for you. I appreciate this forum has a lot of genuine owners and people with quality items as well as those willing to spent same. Unfortuately, there are also a lot of loud mouth louts here also.
To seller: If your parts are worth buying I invite you to PM me with info. If not. whatever. My PCCBs are still fine and I don't need them. As for this discussion... I'm outta here.

Questions about used Parts
Excellent Job john rice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it is imperative to question people selling used parts on this forum. People generally do not portray the parts in the same condition as they are. Then the buyer gets used more than stated junk that he is stuck with and the seller says OH WELL and moves on.
If the seller is genuine then the questions should not offend him. If he gets offended then move on and buy somewhere else.
This board has scam artists lurking around selling products in a deceptive manner. Don't believe everything you read!!!!!!

I don't think John was rude in any way. This is exactly why one is allowed to post in FS threads and if the seller can't answer these legit questions here, well, he shouldn't be selling them here either.
I have PCCB's as well and might be interested in these brakes for track duty but I would like to see the answers to John's question before I decide if they are worth buying or not.
